SENTENCE

SENTENCE কাকে বলে ? 

ANS : যে শব্দ গুচ্ছ মনের ভাব সম্পূর্ণ রূপে প্রকাশ করে তাকে Sentence বা বাক্য বলে।

Sentence কত প্রকার ?

ANS : অর্থভেদে Sentence ৫ প্রকার।

                 1. Assertive Sentence (বিবৃতিমূলক)

                 2. Interrogative Sentence (প্রশ্নবোধক)

                 3. Imperative Sentence (অনুজ্ঞাবাচক)

                 4. Optative Sentence (প্রার্থনা মূলক)

                 5. Exclamatory Sentence  (বিস্ময়সূচক) 

Structure :

                 

                1. Assertive Sentence (বিবৃতিমূলক)

                                       

যে Sentence দ্বারা কোন বিবৃতি প্রকাশ করা হয় তাকে Assertive Sentence বলে।

Assertive Sentence (বিবৃতিমূলক) দুই প্রকার।

                     (১) Affirmative Sentence : sub+verb+extension

                                           He is well today.

                      (২) Negative Sentence :  sub+verb+not+extension

                                           He is not well today.

                              2. Interrogative Sentence (প্রশ্নবোধক)

যে Sentence  দ্বারা কোন প্রশ্ন করা হয় তাকে Interrogative Sentence  বলে।

                          Structure : ques word+ auxi verb+ sub + prin verb+ Ext + ?

                             

                           where did he live?

                           where did he go yesterday?

                         3. Imperative Sentence (অনুজ্ঞাবাচক)

যে Sentence  দ্বারা আদেশ, উপদেশ,  অনুরোধ, নিষেদ ইত্যাদি প্রকাশ করা হয় তাকে Imperative Sentence বলে।

                        Structure: verb + ext

                                    Done go.

                         

                        নিষেধ বুঝালে  Structure : Don't +sub+verb+ext.

                                     Don't open the door.

                        Let এর জন্য Structure: let+1st per /3rd per এর obj +verb +ext.

                                      Let me/him go out.

                                   

                              4. Optative Sentence (প্রার্থনা মূলক)

যে Sentence দ্বারা মনের ইচ্ছা, প্রার্থনা প্রকাশ করা হয় তাকে Optative Sentence বলে।

                   

                        Structure : May+sub+verb+ext.

                                           May you prosper in life.

                        5. Exclamatory Sentence  (বিস্ময়সূচক) 

যে Sentence দ্বারা মনের আকস্মিক অনুভূতি প্রকাশ করা হয় তাকে Exclamatory Sentence বলে। 

                        Structure:   what a /an বা  how +adj+sub+verb+ext + !

                                        what a fine bird it is !

                                        How beautiful you are !

       Alas /Hurrah এর জন্য

                        Structure : Alas / Hurrah +!+sub+ verb+ext.

                                        Alas ! I am undone!

       If/had এর জন্য

                       Structure: If/ had+sub+verb+ext+!

                                         If I were a king !
